The inaugural film program of the Palm Springs Dance Festival, Dance on Film sought to further the festival's mission by introducing new audiences to rich and diverse dance styles via the medium of film. From global to local, the series curated and produced by Marie Bobin, showcased the cross-cultural and intergenerational power of dance.

 

The series included Shake the Dust (dir. Adam Sjoberg), American Tap (dir. Mark Wilkinson), La Chana (dir. Lucija Stojevic), and Moving the Memories (dir. Mary Addison Hackett).
